Survivor Redemption Island: If the twist wasn't enough...

If the twist of Redemption Island wasn't enough, Rob and Russell get to square off again.  I'm sick of Russell, but as Jeff Probst points out in the clip they just released, Russell is so polarizing that you have to watch so you enjoy hating him again.  I don't hate Russell, as I think he is a master manipulator, but if he hasn't learned anything about how you treat others, to get the jury votes, his game will be the same... he won't win.  He will have a bigger battle to face that Rob will, because everyone knows Russell's antics, where as in Heroes vs. Villains, I think they only had a glimpse of his game, before they went film.  I really don't expect Russell to last long at all.

Rob on the other hand used to be the player than no one liked, but now he has changed.  We saw him go to a guy who was the team player, the ultimate contributor in challenges and tried to talk sense into his tribe, in Heroes vs Villains.  Unfortunately, his tribe didn't listen and that hurt all of them, except maybe Sandra, because I'm not sure she would have won against Rob.  I predict Rob will go far, but I don't think he will win.  I think the other players will realize that he has had the opportunity to play this game 4 times now and that should be enough for him.  Rob is very convincing though, so he may just be able to work his magic until the end.

At the end of the clip, that CBS just released, they show Russell and Rob getting what looks like an immunity idol, so it will be difficult for them to get voted out first, or maybe it is outright immunity for the first tribal council, then they are fair game, but either way, it looks like they will be safe for the first tribal council.

So bring on the season, as it will definitely start out better than last season.

Until next time... the Tribe has spoken.
